With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Nelson K. Bond brings a distinguished and comprehensive approach to patient care at VeriSpine Joint Centers. As CEO and Medical Director of multiple interventional pain and anesthesia organizations, Dr. Bond combines leadership with hands-on expertise to deliver innovative, patient-centered pain management.
Dr. Bond completed his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College and earned his medical doctorate from Howard University College of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, followed by residencies in Internal Medicine at George Washington University and Anesthesiology at the University of California, San Francisco. He also completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at UCSF.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bond pioneered advanced interventional pain management practices, integrating surgical models with comprehensive pre- and post-operative care. He emphasizes accurate diagnosis and targeted treatments, including regenerative medicine, to help patients manage and overcome complex pain conditions. His expertise spans musculoskeletal disorders, complex chronic pain, sports-related injuries, and occupational pain syndromes.
